 Hola..

My name is Monica and I'm originally from Colombia. where I studied Spanish and Literature at the University of Cauca.

I have extensive experience teaching adults of all levels.

I really enjoy sharing my native language and Latin culture with my students. For me the best part as a teacher is seeing the students progress and the friendships that develop between students.


I work hard to make sure my classes are delivered in a warm, relaxed and personal atmosphere.

How we started

Mónica has taught Spanish in different forms for over 25 years, to; our three children, in primary school, for a national language school, to private students, as a part - time Lecturer at a local College and now for Let's Talk Spanish!

Let's Talk Spanish

Our courses will introduce you to Spanish through relaxed small group classes with a great focus on conversation. You will use high quality and interesting learning materials.

Music & Culture..

We want to share more than just a language with our students. Join our classes and  discover more about the Spanish Speaking world. We love the joy & energy of Latin & Spanish music and if you are like us visit our free Music club pages.

Backroom..

Hola! I'm Martin the co-founder of "Lets't talk Spanish". I'm from London, but I have spoken the Spanish language for 30 years. I spent three years living and teaching English in both Bolivia & Colombia in South America!  My job at "Let's talk Spanish" is dealing with social media, technical aspects, all the administration; organizing social events and developing club activities.. This leaves Monica free to do what she does best...teaching!


I will also be fill-in Spanish teaching as & when required.
